Muller Indian Pony

This Indian pony, carved by Daniel Muller, is in park paint - straight off the carousel. There are often ten or more layers of paint on the surface.

The Indian pony is now stripped of paint, exposing the wood surface for restoration. There is a lot of surface damage and glue joints delaminating; all will be restored back to the original intent.

Here is the animal after the wood restoration has been finished and a primer coat brushed onto it.

The finished animal, painted and leafed. The paints used here are artist's tube oils, blended by hand with brushes. The leaf is 12 karat white gold.

In park paint.

Muller Butting Goat

Here is an exquisitely carved Butting Goat with a Punch figurine behind the saddle.

The goat is finished in wood with transparent glazes over it to accent the carving.
